Through painting and photography, I explore how I see myself and the world around me. Water appears often in my work, reflecting my experiences as a swimmer and my interest in the natural environment. I sometimes place people and animals in imagined situations to question how we treat other living things and the places they inhabit. Other pieces are more personal, exploring feelings through familiar settings or a change in perspective. I enjoy experimenting with different materials and seeing how my ideas develop as I work.
